I. Industrial dryers are a type of laundry machinery typically used after washing and dewatering to remove residual moisture from clothing and other textiles. After dewatering, the linen and garments are placed inside the drum. The drum then rotates, either continuously or alternately in forward and reverse directions, while hot air is blown through the perforated drum. This causes the moisture in the laundry to evaporate quickly and be carried away efficiently.

II. Industrial dryers generally feature a drum-type structure. Heating methods include steam, electric heating, natural gas, or thermal oil. Externally resembling fully automatic washer-extractors, industrial dryers typically use an electric motor as the power source to drive the drum in a controlled rotational pattern. The laundry is continuously tumbled and separated inside the drum while a heated air stream, circulated by a blower, passes through it. This creates a cycling airflow that continuously removes moisture from the laundry, achieving the drying purpose.
